Angela is an event coordinator herself with her company, Sterling Social. I asked her how it was planning her own wedding. She responded, "My own wedding was one of the most exciting projects I have ever worked on. It was my opportunity to do what I love for the people I love. I work with the most brilliant, creative people on a daily basis and we had so much fun designing this wedding. The design was really inspired by texture. I wanted to bring to life a neutral color palette through the use of interesting textural elements such as mica wallpaper, mercury glass, and cut crystal. The overall look and feel was soft and romantic. It was magical to watch the elements tie together throughout the planning process"
Reflections from Angela, "Experiencing what it's like to be a bride is incredible. You feel an overwhelming amount of love from your friends and family. I have to say though, one of my favorite things about our wedding was the energy! It was insane! The only time we sat down that night was for speeches. Otherwise, we were dancing our hearts out on a packed dance floor surrounded by our favorite people in the entire world. I've never had so much fun in my life." - I think that's how a wedding should be! And it was a blast to photograph too.

I have been dying to post this wedding for awhile now. Everything about this wedding was stunning from the couple, to the venue - the St. Regis, to the decor, to their guests and families. Angela is actually runs a wedding design and coordianting company with another partner called Sterling Social and I would highly recommend looking into them if you're planning your wedding. They put together insanely gorgeous events. Wait till you see tomorrow's post with the details of their reception. For now, enjoy these photos!
Asking Angela about falling in love with Jon, "The first time I looked into those big blue eyes I was a goner :) I fell hard and I can honestly say that I fall more in love with Jon every day. He has the most genuine, kind and endearing nature and his positive outlook on life is contagious. He's truly my better half! He feels like home to me…like I was meant to be with him my entire life. Jon is one of the most special people in the world and I feel so lucky, every day, that I found him."
More reflections from Angela: "I loved the private moment of seeing him for the first time before the Ceremony because I knew we wouldn't have much more time that day just to ourselves. Regardless of seeing Jon before, the moment I walked down the aisle with my Dad took my breath away. Time stood still and aside from the day Jon asked me to marry him, it was the happiest moment of my entire life."
Stay Tuned for the rest of this wedding tomorrow. Their reception was unbelievable!!
