Yosemite Wedding

December 5th, 2014

Yosemite is a special place and to have your wedding there is nothing short of remarkable. I had the good fortune to be able to document Jami and Aaron's wedding in the forest of Yosemite, then got to wander down into the valley for some portraits. They were such a sweet coule, so in love, and magic happened.

I loved that one of their main ideas of Yosemite for their wedding was that they plan on taking their kids back year after year and be able to say, 'this is where mom and dad got married.' I thought that was a fun thing to get to do.

See more of their wedding over on Green Wedding Shoes which featured a ton of photos!

Santa Barbara Chic Wedding :: Beach and Barn

October 23rd, 2014

Julie and Paul's wedding was recently featured in The Knot Magazine and excited to finally share their photos. Everything was designed, planned and coordinated by the Sterling Social team, who I love working with. From the ceremony on a bluff, overlooking the ocean, to a gorgeous cocktail hour on the beach with a couple bars set up, a meat and cheese station to a raw bar, then finishing it off in the old barn at Dos Pueblos. Stunning event with catering by Contemporary Catering.

I'm not sure where you are getting your info, but great topic.
I needs to spend some time learning more or understanding
more. Thanks for fantastic information I was looking for
this information for my mission.

I think what you posted made a lot of sense. However, think on this,
suppose you composed a catchier title? I ain't saying
your information is not solid, however what if you added a post title that grabbed folk's attention? I mean Braedon's Blog is a little boring.
You should peek at Yahoo's front page and watch how they create post headlines
to get viewers interested. You might add a video or a picture
or two to grab people excited about what you've got to
say. Just my opinion, it would bring your posts a little bit more

Flutter Magazine Big Sur Wedding Feature

June 5th, 2014

Flutter Magazine has been blowing me away with each new issue it publishes. The layout is so beautiful and I've been honored to have been featured in the most recent 4 issues. In the issue coming out and on stands now, they featured a wedding I photographed in Big Sur at a home called Wind and Sea. Big Sur is such a special place and it's really hard to beat that northern California coast line.

Here are the spreads from my feature and I'd highly recommend picking up the magazine. You can find them online or at most Barnes and Nobles.

Bridget + Mike :: Parker Palm Springs Wedding

April 23rd, 2014

Bridget and Mike were married at The Parker Palm Springs at the end of last year. The Parker is one of my favorite venues and if you like the Mid Century Modern look, this is your place. Jonathan Adler designed the interior decor and it is top notch.

Bridget and Mike were such a fun couple and loved being a part of their wedding. Working with Green Ribbon Events and the team of people like JL Designs made the decor stunning and day run smoothly!

A Wedding Under the Trees :: Anne + Marc

March 24th, 2014

Weddings on private estates are at the top of my list for favorite places to shoot weddings. This was family property up in the Santa Ynez valley near Solvang. The landscape in that area is so picturesque with the rolling hills and moss covered trees. I acutally met Anne and Marc while I was photographing a concert (here's a link to the actual show I shot that night of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros) So we connected over a love of music and I got to spend a day with them shooting their engagement photos around an old airport Anne's dad was a big part of.

Here are their photos. Loved this wedding:
