Santa Barbara Chic Wedding :: Beach and Barn

October 23rd, 2014

Julie and Paul's wedding was recently featured in The Knot Magazine and excited to finally share their photos. Everything was designed, planned and coordinated by the Sterling Social team, who I love working with. From the ceremony on a bluff, overlooking the ocean, to a gorgeous cocktail hour on the beach with a couple bars set up, a meat and cheese station to a raw bar, then finishing it off in the old barn at Dos Pueblos. Stunning event with catering by Contemporary Catering.

I'm not sure where you are getting your info, but great topic.
I needs to spend some time learning more or understanding
more. Thanks for fantastic information I was looking for
this information for my mission.

I think what you posted made a lot of sense. However, think on this,
suppose you composed a catchier title? I ain't saying
your information is not solid, however what if you added a post title that grabbed folk's attention? I mean Braedon's Blog is a little boring.
You should peek at Yahoo's front page and watch how they create post headlines
to get viewers interested. You might add a video or a picture
or two to grab people excited about what you've got to
say. Just my opinion, it would bring your posts a little bit more

A Wedding Under the Trees :: Anne + Marc

March 24th, 2014

Weddings on private estates are at the top of my list for favorite places to shoot weddings. This was family property up in the Santa Ynez valley near Solvang. The landscape in that area is so picturesque with the rolling hills and moss covered trees. I acutally met Anne and Marc while I was photographing a concert (here's a link to the actual show I shot that night of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros) So we connected over a love of music and I got to spend a day with them shooting their engagement photos around an old airport Anne's dad was a big part of.

Here are their photos. Loved this wedding:

Ryan + Jenny :: A Family Affair

July 26th, 2013

I had the priviledge to photograph Ryan and Jenny's beautiful Colorado Wedding at Crooked Willow Farms. Ryan is my brother-in-law, and it was so special that I was able to document some of the most intimate moments of their wedding.  Ryan and Jenny have such an amazingly sweet realtionship. He is protective and chilvarous, and she is selfless, thoughtful and a joy to be around.  Their love for eachother is tangible, and watching how excited they were to be getting married reminds you of how all weddings should be.  This wedding was completley DIY, and the amount of personal touches were in abundance!  I think my mother-in-law made around 200 felt flowers! Ryan and Jenny, you created the intimate, beautiful and friends and family focused wedding you dreamed of! Hope you enjoy the memories.

Their first look was one of the prettiest and most special I've been a part of. I had Ryan wait way up on this hill and Jenny walked through the long grass to get to him. I love Colorado!

These are my little guys as the ring bearers. Pretty cute if you ask me. Our little one, Rhys, happens to love his dadda and as soon as he saw me, he booked it down the isle into my arms. You'll see it if you watch the video at the end of the post!

In the midst of photographing the wedding, I shot some clips of video as well and put together this video of their day. Hope you like it!

Kelly + Niall :: A Rustic Ranch Wedding

March 26th, 2013

Kelly and Niall were one of those couples I met with and there was just Chemistry right off the bat. Niall is originally from Ireland and Kelly is from London. Both are so stylish, have a ton of fun together and the entire wedding day was filled with laughter. I absolutely loved being a part of this wedding and hope you love the photos!

Here's Kelly's thoughts on what she loves about Niall, "We both have very similar child like personalities, we love to joke around and have fun. Niall is always making me laugh and I have never had anyone who has believed in me so much. As soon as anyone meets Niall they fall in love with him instantly, he has the most amazing magnetic energy, that when people meet him they cannot get enough."

"I have always loved everything vintage and wanted the wedding to feel dreamy, romantic and fun. Everyone laughed at me as I had  buzz words to give people a feel of what we wanted. The main word being "whimsical". I didn't want the wedding to look too bridal or for everything to match or only have two colors only though out the decor. Thats just not Niall and myself. We both are very eclectic and wanted that reflected in the wedding. I found a new love of crafting and made loads of little handmade touches here and there, including ribbon bell bracellets for people to giggle when we tied the knot. Most of the vintage glass bottles were my own that friends and myself had collected at flea markets. But honestly I couldn't of done any of this without our event designer Tricia she managed to take my vision, pull it all together and make it even better than I could of ever managed!!!" - Kelly.
