Carondelet House Wedding :: Eric + Kelsey

0
November 23rd, 2013

Carondelet House has become one of my favorite spots for weddings lately. It feels like you're at some great home from the early 1900's, dining in the great living room, cocktail hour out in the courtyard, and the place has so much character, you almost don't need to do a thing to it.

Eric and Kelsey were married there earlier this year and it was such a special wedding to be a part of. The vows they wrote to each other were probably the sweetest I've heard (and I've heard one or two), the the real love between them was beyond evident.

I really do feel lucky getting to be a part of the weddings I'm a part of. This was definitely one of those.

A Hip Los Angeles Wedding

October 16th, 2013

For starters, this couple is amazing. I love the couples I get to photograph and these two rank at the top. If you didn't see them, go back and look at their engagement shoot I photographed on an old hippie compound here in LA. So much fun.

Then their wedding was a blast. Megan and Bryan met on tour as professionial tap dancers and you better believe they did a tap performance for their first dance. Bryan's strut/dance down the aisle was probably my favorite part and the element of joy and love was abounding.

Their wedding was held in Los Angeles at the Marvimon. Their planners, Gather Events, are so talented and love getting to work with them and the night was held together with DJ Smiles keeping everyone on the dancefloor.

So excited to share this engagement shoot with Mandana and Ben we shot near their home in Los Angeles. They are the coolest, the sweetest, tons of fun, and slightly stylish....meaning extremly stylish. Can't wait for their wedding this October in Florida at the Breakers in Palm Beach. Going to be an insane wedding to be a part of!!!

A Downtown Los Angeles Wedding

July 6th, 2013

This downtown LA wedding was a special two day event planned and designed by the talented Wilmarose from Lovely Jubilee events. Day one was filled with all ceremony events followed by an intimate dinner with the closest of family and friends. Day two was the party and reception held at the Marvimon in downtown los angeles. Loved everything about these two and the celebration. More photos from this wedding can be seen over on 100 Layer Cake HERE.
