A Moment to Take a Moment

Weddings are full of moments, full of detail, love, emotion, and so many other things. But sometimes the most beautiful things happen right in the middle of it all happening.

Every year, there is a big photo convention where photographers come from all over the world to see the latest and greatest new equipment or wedding goods but many come to see old friends fom across the country or globe and have a good time. I spent some money on a new system so I can now carry on my body 6 cameras and I'm pretty happy about that. But I really go out there to see old friends and make new ones. There was a lot of that this year!
I brought an old canon point and shoot which broke the first night, then borrowed one of Nate Kaiser's (Image is Found) on the second night of craziness. The color shots were Kodak Portra 160 and the rest were Kodak Tmax 400. It was a fun trip to say the least!

too damn hype! lot of buds in there!!
ok, this was the best night ever!!!!!

The simple, poised portraits in the midst of sheer chaos are sooooo rad! well done.
Sam and Tricia are one of those couples I really connected with on their engagement shoot and it was so much fun being a part of their Ojai wedding. So casual and warm in personality and a wildly fun bridal party. Some of the most gorgeous flowers by Rockrose Floral Design and details by All You Need is Love Events. So fun looking back on their wedding.

I ended up shooting some video on their wedding day and putting a little re-cap video together for them. Take a watch:

Stewart and Jaclyn are a couple I love and am so excited for thier wedding this June. Knowing I shoot film, they wanted to do something a little different with their shoot and asked me to shoot the whole thing in black and white. Loved the idea! And as you scroll down, you'll see how sweet they are and how much fun we had on their shoot!!

Where are you based? Your shots are stunning! Excited to stumble upon your work!
These are amazing Braedon! Love the beer fight ones!!!
I LOVE this! I love the fight at the end and what an awesome couple... great work!!
I've been traveling a ton the past two months and have been shooting a ton. Most of what I shoot is film and generally bring around an old Polaroid Land Camera to get some instant gratification on shoots. Here are two from a recent wedding I shot in Mexio City!

Braedon I cant wait to see all the pictures every day I open your web site like 4 times to see if they are already there
Nice to meet you hope see you soon
Veronica and Alejandro
Braedon it was great spending time with you in Mexico City and we can't wait to see your work. The setting and the couple were both beautiful so I am sure your pictures will display that to its' fullest. John and Steph Wright
