The coolest thing I've ever seen at a wedding was the bride (who is Catholic) and the groom (who is Jewish) create their own ceremony with their friends! The ceremony included a Navajo prayer, a Beatles song, and a reading from "A Farewell To Arms". Both families loved it and their friends were so proud to have planned the ceremony with them. It was GORGEOUS!

I plan on doing this at our wedding, and haven't seen it yet. We're going to have a booth with all sorts of arts and crafts and blank greeting cards and assign a year to each table or group of guests maybe 1-50 and then ask everyone to get together and make an anniversary card with a personal message on it for us to open on that years anniversary. It's personal, it captures the moment, and it will definitely make us laugh or cry!

Ok so the coolest thing I've ever seen at a wedding was during the reception...it was dying down and people were starting to leave. All of a sudden like 10waiters come running to the dance floor with shots of tequilla, the dj started playing the song saying 'shots shots shots, everybody' then went into brazillion crazy great music. The mothers and fathers of the bride and groom stood on chairs & started throwing out beads and masks to all the guests... Needless to say the party picked right back up and actually went well into the night!! Not ganna tell you how I got my beads! Lol ;) j/k! Anyways, so cook and such a thing to experience!! Thanks for reading :)

As an homage to our dad, a chemistry teacher, my sister gave away chocolate chip cookies and test tubes filled with milk as part of her dessert portion of the evening. So cute!

My sister got married at my aunt and uncles farm and they surprise everyone with a giant fireworks show at the end of the reception. Magical!

Last year I saw this video a couple did called "Inception Reception." Before their wedding, they went through the motions of their wedding and filmed their day, but it has a twist... things happen and it's like the movie inception! I wont give away the end, but it's defiantly worth a watch! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sS8EuHoR_6o

From a bride's perspective, my favorite was at my friend's wedding reception where the bride and the groom went up to the dance floor and invited their guests to form a line on the dance floor to take turns going up to either the bride or the groom for a dance. But get this, in return for the dance, the guests must pin bills($$) onto the bride's dress or the groom's suit! By the end of it, the bride and the groom's outfit was covered with $$$$. they made bank!!!!! my fiance and I looked at each other and said "we gotta do this at our wedding!" hahahaha

Congrats on being at The Cream! Love your work!

Ok, so I'm gonna go out on a limb and make mine up. I think it would be super RAD to get married at an old drive-in. Have the reception (tables and dancefloor )in front of the screen(s) and have photos projected throughout the night. OR better yet have the dance/drinking montages The Flashdance made playing to set the vibe! Love those! But hey that's just me.....

I'd love to win tickets for my friend to go! I love seeing customized ceremonies at weddings, and vows that really give an inside look at a couple's relationship!

love your work!!

the most amazing thing i have seen in a wedding will have to be indonesian weddings for their over the top , extravagant, lots of $$ spend over crazy detailed flowers and decoration.. think hundreds of hanging orchids, crystal... and this favorite one of a swimming pool turned into a wedding ceremony by layering some glass/plastic thing on top of it
