Ian + Emily :: A Stylish Ranch Wedding

This was a wedding I've been dying to post for awhile. Ian and Emily's wedding is special for a ton of reasons. For starters, they are friends of mine. Ian is a surfing buddy and Emily has styled many of the fashion shoots I've done over the years. I shot Emily's brother Seth's wedding a few years back and that was one of my favorite weddings as well. You may remember this wedding - Click Here to See It.

Their suggested dress code was americana. In the invite, it suggested to 'think Jonny Cash meets John Wayne'. Their guests nailed it. Probably the hippest crowd I've seen at a wedding.

The wedding was held at the Dent House in Ojai, CA. I LOVE Ojai weddings. Every venue has so much aesthetic and so many options to shoot. The Dent House fell into this same category.

Emily's Dress was a Spring 11 runway Fend dress, her shoes from Barneys, her headpiece was given to her from a dear friend/ vintage collector Valarie, it was a very old vintage wax floral headpiece from Czechoslovakia
