Caitlin + Steve ::: Engaged!

Caitlin and Steve are the sweetest. Steve flew down from Napa for the engagement shoot out in Redlands and we had such a good time. Caitlin brought a couple of her grandmother’s old suitcases and inside of them, found a couple of her old hats! They worked perfect for the shoot.

This first shot, I love. I brought my old manual focus Hasselblad which I thought would be appropriate for their engagement shoot. So glad I did. All of the square, black and white photos are from that camera. Hope you like them. Enjoy!

Earlier this week, I went up to LA with Roberto to shoot some photos for his dancing career. It was so fun. Down on one of the industrial streets we were shooting, a guy in his big Escalade saw what we were doing and started blasting his system for us. Gave Roberto some jams to dance to. It’s tricky as a photographer to have new content for blog posts on a very consistent basis. This time of year for a wedding photographer is when we’re booking a lot of our clients and is a bit slower in the actual shooting of weddings. I am SO excited for the weddings that I do have lined up for 2010 though. I will be photographing such fun, hip and sweet couples and will be working with some of my favorite coordinators and other vendors. With all of these weddings coming up, I’ve been trying to scout out different locations as I start shooting engagement sessions for couples. While up in LA, I shot this photo of the Santa Monica Pier at sunset. Hope you like it. Happy Friday to you all!

This was the third time shooting photos of Stirling since his birth. It is really incredible the difference between each 4 month shoot. Stirling’s just started walking, has a few teeth and such a personality. Here are a few of my favorites from the afternoon:
