Friday’s Fotos ::New York Polaroids
Posted on May 21, 2010
Since April, I have been traveling almost every weekend. I’ve been shooting photos in Vegas, Austin Texas, Baltimore, Boston, Plymouth, Arizona, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Orange County, Santa Barbara and New York. I have a lot of new posts in the works but in the meantime, here are a couple of Polaroids I shot while in New York. Shot with my SX-70 and I’ve been getting film from the Impossible Project.

SXSW :: Portraits
Posted on April 12, 2010
While out at SXSW in Austin, I had a pretty good crew to hang with. I was down there with PawnShop kings who played 3 amazing shows and through them, I met a gang of people that were out from Nashville. While we were either walking the streets or hanging out grabbing a bite I’d shoot some portraits . And if I saw someone who looked eccentric, I’d stop them on the street and ask if I could take their photo. Those are some of my favorites.
The first two shots are my favorite of the trip. This is Scott and Joel of PawnShop kings. They’re brothers and they’re incredibly talented. We were walking from one concert to another and I found this back alley. We decided to shoot some photos and this is what came out:

Friday’s Fotos ::: Vegas
Posted on April 2, 2010
I got this roll of film back along with a bunch of others from all the shoots I’ve done lately and wanted to share these few. Most of them (except for the first) are shot either out of my plane window or from the top of the airport parking garage. They were shot with my Hasselblad 500C. Happy Friday!

Lane + Rodney ::: Engaged in Los Angeles
Posted on March 31, 2010
Talk about a fun and amazing couple. I love my job. I get to meet so many great people, and then get to document some of the most important events of their lives. Lane and Rodney are two of those people I’m so glad to have met and am excited to shoot their wedding. I love how their photos came out. Let me know if there’s anything you like about them! I love your comments when you leave them!!

SXSW ::: Local Natives Video
Posted on March 24, 2010
If you haven’t heard of Local Natives, you need to look them up. They were one of my favorite live performances of the trip out there. They’re melodic with a ton of energy. I shot a bit of video and wanted to share.

SXSW – Metric at the Spin Loft
Posted on March 20, 2010
We have seen a ton of good music so far and still going strong. Yesterdays shows were incredible and I can’t wait to post photos. I’m shooting a ton of film so I feel like I’m going to be doing SXSW posts for a couple of weeks here and there.
We’ve spent a good amount of time mid day at the Spin Magazine loft which is a little quieter, clean and has a ton of fun people. They’ve put on several acoustic concerts and I got to sit on the couch and watch Metric play a couple of songs. Definitely check them out if you haven’t.
Here are a few shots:

Friday’s Foto ::: Stormy Seas
Posted on March 12, 2010
Happy Friday! I just got back from an amazing photography tradeshow and came back with so many new friends. So fun meeting new faces and connecting with different people that follow my blog too. I wanted to share this photo I shot with my Holga. We have had so much weather this year, which isn’t all that normal for sunny Southern California. This is a spot I surf most mornings in the winter and thought I’d share it:
