And on the third day, my wife and I were used as subjects for a wedding shoot. Here are a couple I snapped of Lindsay. Isn’t she stunning?? I’m a lucky guy.

I was fortunate enough to get to participate in a workshop put on by the amazing Jonathan Canlas who is a wealth of knowledge. If you’ve ever considered taking a workshop and especially if you have an interest in shooting film vs digital, this is the workshop for you. Lindsay and I were going to model for the workshop on the 3rd day but a space opened up last minute and Jonathan invited me for the whole workshop. It was awesome and I’m grateful.
The first part of the day was lecture and the second half of the day was shooting couples and trying out different films. Here are some of my faves from one of the days. I didn’t edit any of this at all. Straight out of the camera and back from Richard Photo Lab.

Katie + Danny :: Engaged

I loved getting to spend the afternoon with Katie and Danny. They are a success story from meeting on E Harmony and are perfect for each other. Danny is a producer in the video game world and Katie has her hands in all sorts of projects. Look how cute they are together!

Breezy + Florent ::: Engaged

Just for starters, I love this couple. Florent is from southern France and is a hair stylist in LA and Breezy is in the fashion world. Their wedding is going to be amazing! I’ll share more about them with that post but here are my favorite shots from their engagement shoot.

Ian + Emily

It is my absolute favorite thing to shoot couples who bring their own style to a shoot. This was definitely a collaboration of all of us and it came out so fun. Emily has actually styled several of my photo shoots and she brought all of their wardrobe. Their wedding is going to be an entire weekend of adventure and celebration that I get to be a part of and document. Some of my favorite photos of late. Annie + Peter ::: Engaged

Annie and Peter are getting married later this summer and I’m so looking forward to their wedding. It’s so fun getting to know couples better during engagement shoots. I love these first few.

Kelly + Jimmy :: Engaged!

Here is another couple who’s wedding is going to be so much fun. If their friends have personalities anywhere near as vibrant as that of Kelly and Jimmy, the day is going to be a blast.
And look at this dress she showed up in! Gorgeous. Apparently the dress is made out of all recycled material. Loved it!
Not a bad pair of shoes either!
