Michelle and Dane had a gorgeous wedding at the Montecito Country Club in Santa Barbara. Their theme was ‘urban jungle’ and they absolutely nailed it. Such fun details! All of the coordination was done by the fabulous Alexandra Kolendrianos and a big thanks to my brother Patrick Flynn for shooting with me.

To start off, sorry for lagging on blog posts recently. Everyday lately has had some sort of photoshoot and I’m buried. A lot of good stuff is coming. To start, I’ve worked with a high school group at a church for the last handful of years and have always had the most amazing kids come through my group. Julia Patton is one of them. She’s a senior this year and looking to go to fashion design school. She is so stylish herself and has great taste. As she’s been designing her own clothes, friend’s clothes, and friend’s homecoming/prom dresses, she’s built herself a great portfolio. Julia asked me a couple of weeks ago if I’d shoot her portfolio photos for her and I was more than happy to do so. She grabbed one of her girlfriends (another girl in my group who is an incredibly talented artist) and we went out to some fields. Here are a couple of her designs that were my favorite. I think she’s going to be great!!

Katie + Ryan ::: A Los Angeles Engagement Shoot

I can’t tell you how excited I’ve been to post these photos. I had so much fun with Katie and Ryan on this shoot and left knowing we got some great photos. Ryan works in the directing world so I brought a couple of props that I felt were fitting, we shot all over downtown LA and got some stunning light at the end of the day. I hope you like them as much as I do!
This is probably my favorite shot of the whole day!
I know this shot is similar, but I shot it on film and there’s something different enough about it to post. I love this shot.

Families!!

Tis the season to get some family photos done! I definitely wouldn’t consider myself a family photographer but I do shoot for good friends and a few fun families I’ve shot over the years. I wanted to post some of my favorites from a couple of the recent shoots!
