Karen and Patrick ::: Engaged

As I was waiting for Karen and Patrick to show up for their shoot, I saw this amazing looking couple walking towards me from a distance and I got a big smile on my face. These two know how to put themselves together! We literally had to reschedule this shoot 4 times because of rain but finally ended up with a great day. Their wedding is actually this coming Saturday at 7 Degrees in Laguna and I’m so excited to capture that day. Here are some of their stunning engagement photos:

Lauren and Brian ::: Engaged!

On Saturday, I had the pleasure of shooting the engagement photos of Lauren and Brian with my awesome team – my lovely wife Lindsay and brother Patrick. Lauren and Brian are so much fun and seriously can’t wait to shoot their wedding at the Marvimon in LA. This shoot was done with 4 different cameras, three of them being medium format film. I have yet to get the rolls back but can’t wait. Here are some photos to share in the meantime:

A Sunset Between the Storms

I absolutely love clouds…I mean the big puffy ones. Here in southern California, we either get straight blue skies or straight grey skies. It’s a treat when we actually get some ‘good’ clouds. I used to shoot a lot of architectural stuff and I would be literally praying for clouds because they make a photo that much better (in my opinion). So we get clouds when after it rains and boy has it been raining. Here’s a little sunset shot I couldn’t resist taking.
