Margaret and Bernie ::: Engaged

My lovely wife and I spent most of Sunday afternoon up in Malibu with Margaret and Bernie. They are the sweetest couple and we are so excited for their gorgeous wedding in Cabo San Lucas this coming April! Check out some of these shots we got!

Margaret is an unbelievable piano player so I had her serenade Bernie for a bit…and us too in the process.

A Shot on Film ::: Mike and Ally

I love the whole process of film. If I had the time and space, I would have my own dark room and shoot way more film than I do. I just got back four rolls of 120 film I had developed and found this shot I forgot about of Mike and Ally. Along with my Cannon 5D Mark II, I usually carry around a Hasselbald and a Holga. This was with my Hasselblad on HP5, 400 speed film. The photo is virtually unedited except for a little dust spotting. I think it’s gorgeous.

Tammi and Chris ::: Engaged

On Saturday, I took Tammi and Chris out to fare the weather and try to catch some sun between the dark clouds. Both of their families are from Greece and actually met in Greece. Appropriately, they are getting married in Greece in a gorgeous castle. Unfortunately for me, I’m not available to shoot their wedding but they still wanted to get some great engagement photos. Patrick, my brother, has been assisting me lately and he accompanied me on this shoot as well and is an incredible artist. It’s fun to be able to work with family. Mike and Ally ::: Arroyo Trabuco

Mike and Ally were married last weekend at the beautiful Arroyo Trabuco Golf club. The whole day was stunning and everyone had an amazing time. The wedding parties on both sides were all so much fun. The grounds at Arroyo Trabuco are stunning, especially since all the trees are still turning colors. Alyson Gabaldon is the venue coordinator and she is such a pleasure to work with.
