Lindsay and I were able to spend an amazing day with such a sweet couple last weekend. The Pacific Club where they got ready and had their reception is beautiful venue. So many old rooms to shoot in to give a wedding a classy feel.
Tami Jacobson of All About You Events coordinated the wedding and it came out spectacular. Always a pleasure working with her.

Baby MacKenzie

Little MacKenzie is the cutest thing. Her parents are madly in love with their first child and it was so fun shooting some portraits with them. Babies are so different to shoot than kids or adults. You just plop them places and they sit wherever you put them. They become a little prop in whatever setting you place them. We had some great props for this shoot. Here are some photos:
Dad said he wanted to be the first guy to ever buy his little girl a diamond. So he did….So sweet.
Ella Jean

Ella Jean is a little blessing to her family. Such a cute little baby. I’ve photographed her big brothers a couple times but I think she’s going to take the cake. Here are a couple photos!
Her big brother came over and said “I wov Ewa Bewwa” and gave her a wittle kiss. So cute.

Bryan and Michelle Married ::: Casa Romantica

Lindsay and I have looked forward to shooting this wedding for a long time now. Our engagement photos we shot of them were some of my favorites. They have so much chemistry and love for one another and are both so sweet and fun. Their venue, Casa Romantica, was a perfect choice for their style and characters.
The girls over at Cheek Couture did a fabulous job on the makeup. Always fun seeing them on a shoot!

A Hike in Arcadia

On Saturday a whole crew of friends went on a gorgeous hike out in Arcadia in honor of the upcoming wedding of Seth and Dionna, two great friends of ours. The day couldn’t have been prettier and we spent the day in a little cabin back in the woods.
Here’s the start of the hike. Downhill was a breeze. Uphill – different story.

Jackson Five

Lindsay and I spent some time with the Jackson family and documented their afternoon. The whole family was so sweet! We chased the kids around and grabbed some fun pics!
The light was great in this little tunnel. We had to get creative to warm them up to the camera, so we ran some relay races then played a little Simon Says. Worked like a charm!
The kids were willing to ham it up for the camera on a couple.

A Bridal Shoot

Dottie and Molly of Cheek Couture makeup and styling (who do an amazing job) are starting their own online boutique and asked me to shoot their cover photos. They are going to have all sorts of bridal products from jewelry to bride and bridesmaid outfits/presents. I’ll let you know when it’s up and running. Here are a couple photos from the day:
